Kent Douglas joined the Toronto Maple Leafs for the 1962-63 season and played the next five seasons ending his career with the Leafs following the 66-67 cup victory. During that time he played 283 games scoring 20 goals and assisting on 65 for a total of 85 points. He also played in 19 playoff games in which he scored 1 goal and had 3 assists.
Douglas left the Leafs after the 1967 Stanley Cup victory and went to play for the Oakland Seals and then ended his career with the Detroit Red Wings in 1969.
His N.H.L. career consisted of 428 games in which he scored 33 goals and had 115 for 148 points.

As of May 02, 1997 as noted in the Toronto Star "Where are they now ... the 1966-67 Maple Leafs", Kent Douglas is retired in North Bay, and does community and church work.
